Rock at work can also offer optional Key Skills qualifications as part of your team building. These are offered in four areas:
- Communication – includes one to one and group discussions, active listening, and obtaining, synthesising and conveying information.
- Working with others – includes process and interpersonal skills to support working cooperatively with others to achieve shared objectives.
- Improving own learning and performance – includes target-setting, planning, learning reviewing and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving – includes analysis to arrive at conclusions, synthesis to create a product or process, and resource planning and gaining cooperation of others to overcome problems.
The aim of Key Skills Qualifications is to encourage participants to develop and demonstrate their skills in the four areas, as well as learn how to select and apply skills in ways that is appropriate to their particular context.
